{"id":4055,"date":"2024-10-30T09:54:29","date_gmt":"2024-10-30T09:54:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mn-flavours.com\/fruit-juices\/"},"modified":"2024-11-19T14:13:01","modified_gmt":"2024-11-19T14:13:01","slug":"fruit-juices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mn-flavours.com\/en\/fruit-juices\/","title":{"rendered":"Fruit juices"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Directive 2001\/112\/EC lays down specific rules on the composition of fruit juices, their reserved names, their production characteristics and their labelling.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The products covered by this Directive are:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>fruit juices,<\/li>\n\n<li>fruit juice from concentrate,<\/li>\n\n<li>pure concentrated fruit juice,<\/li>\n\n<li>dehydrated fruit juice\/fruit juice powder,<\/li>\n\n<li>fruit juice without water content<\/li>\n\n<li>fruit nectar.<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These products are defined on the basis of their composition and preparation processes to ensure that the terms are used accurately in commerce and not in a way that may mislead consumers.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the adoption of amending Directive <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/BG\/AUTO\/?uri=celex:32012L0012\">2012\/12\/EU<\/a>, the addition of sugar is no longer allowed in fruit juices.Fruit juices are labelled in accordance with the general rules laid down in Regulation (EU) No <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/BG\/AUTO\/?uri=celex:32011R1169\">1169\/2011<\/a> on the labelling of foodstuffs. However, this Directive adopts additional, specific rules to improve consumer information.
